Southampton enters the match day in ninth place with 31 points. No matter what happens, they’re locked into that spot but a win over Arsenal would send a statement to the rest of the league and cause some havoc at the top of the table.
“Arsenal have got a great structure,” Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino said, via ESPN FC.
“They have got a squad with very talented players and the structure of the club allowed them to fight for the title until the end of the season. They will be there fighting for the title.”
