Liverpool will look to avenge their disappointing Week 13 loss at Hull City on New Year's Day when they host the Tigers at Anfield.
In one of 10 Premier League matches scheduled for the holiday in Week 20, the Reds, who have fallen to fifth in the league table, will try to snap their two-match losing streak and jump back into the top four. Meanwhile, Steve Bruce's surging Hull squad will attempt the season sweep of Liverpool as they look to continue their ascent in the table.
Surely, the Reds will need another world-class performance from Luis Suarez if they are to avoid the upset and return to their winning ways. The Uruguayan superstar was unable to break through in the first meeting at KC Stadium on Dec. 1, as the Tigers took advantage of a late David Meyler strike and a Martin Skrtel own goal to pick up three points over one of England's most dangerous clubs.
The Premier League's leading scorer ahead of Week 20, Suarez is in the midst of a drought, having gone two straight matches without a goal. That's certainly great news for 10th-place Hull.
