James Collins will have a calf complaint assessed and looks unlikely to feature in West Ham's clash with West Brom.
The injury resulted in the Welsh centre-back being forced off in the first half of the Hammers' 3-1 Boxing Day defeat to Arsenal – a match Ravel Morrison missed through a groin issue.
Sam Allardyce has described this as a 'must-win' game for West Ham, who are now deep in trouble after six defeats in eight league games, and with a tough month ahead.
After West Brom, West Ham's next two league games are at fellow strugglers Fulham and Cardiff, before a home fixture with Newcastle and visit to Chelsea.
They also have three cup games in January.
This is likely to be Keith Downing's final game as West Brom’s caretaker manager, having overseen two draws. They have not won since Nov 2
